By the way, that latest addition to yalls family in the picture with the Skipper, she's beautiful. Just like her Mom and two older sisters.Haven't seen any pics of all of them in a while.

    Take care and God bless.

      Semper Fidelis,
         Chris

Later that night, while I was thinking about the day's somber events, Cpl. Richard A. Mason, an infantryman with Headquarters Platoon, who, in the short time I was with the company became a good friend, told me, "You're still here, don't forget that. Tell your kids, your grandkids, what Sgt. Peralta did for you and the other Marines today."
Quote from a story written by combat correspondent LCpl Travis J. Kaemmerer who, unfortunately, died in a car crash in Virginia after returning from Iraq.

    Renee,

God Bless and hang in there, kiddo.  You know where we are & we are on standby if you need us.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

We need to meet in DC and have a girls weekend with some "spa" action!!

    Hugs,

    LAM

Hang tight pretty lady.  I am pretty sure that the majority of us here have not stopped asking Sky Six to keep watch over you, the skipper and your family.

Not to worry hon.  He seems to have an angel in his hands in that picture.

Skipper!  Don't you worry at all about how you're feeling.  I would be more worried if you DIDN'T feel anything.  The fact that you are bothered by your experience says that you are totally normal.  Only a psychopath could come home from an experience like yours and not be suffering nightmares (or worse).

Oh, and by the by, DON'T go turning to the bottle, okay?  I speak from experience when I say "it don't work".

You both have my support, and the support of the people on this board.  You also have the support of God, and don't forget that.

There is no "I" in "team", but there are four of them in "platitude-quoting idiot."
