Hello fine folks,
I may get a bit windy here but hang with me.
Ok, I was Army Texas State Guard but have a lot of Marine friends.
I have a business that manufactures and sells fragrance discs for autos among other items. Many are sold at car washes and other retailers. These fragrance discs are made from a special polymer that does not melt in high temperatures such as inside a vehicle.
I am not here to sell my product. Be that known now!
In the process of manufacturing we have bits and pieces of discs that did not have the correct amount of scent or were imperfect. These we threw into a bucket. One of my employess had the bright idea of putting these bits and pieces into a mini bundt pan and reheating them. The final result is 4 inch diameter disc that resembles a CD. No two are alike in color or scent as they are a mixture of a little bit of everything. We placed a length of heavy jute string in them and gave them away to some local farmers who hung them inside of trucks and combines. They were very tickled with the result. We call them "Psychodelic Scent Rings". They should last for a very long time.
I have, right now, about 10-15 discs that I will mail to anyone that is putting together a package headed to "the sand". All I would ask is an email back to us from the troops and maybe a pic or two to let us know what they think. It would tickle me and my employess.
I will also send some of the scent discs that we sell that are unmarked, imperfect and otherwise. Along with the large scent discs these are excellent to place in boots, quarters, lockers, hummers, trucks or wherever. Trust me, I know.
We have expanded our line of products that include scented soaps. I would also like to send some mens frangranced soaps on a rope. I can also send some female soaps as well.
This I would do for any of our troops. We stand proud of the work these men and women are doing for us and is our way of returning the favor.
This is in no way an act to sell anything we have to offer from our business. Nothing here is for sale.
Please let me know via email and your comments are welcome.
Regards,
