by James Bradley - author of "Flags of Our Fathers." The "flags" book was excellent. I just finished flyboys and would not, repeat NOT, recommend it. Bradley seems to follow the popular tone of demeaning everything America did, or at the very least making it more horrific than it was, during the war. Heck he spends the first 128 - that is not a typo but one hundred and twenty-eight, pages talking about all the "bad" things. He even seems to blame America and Americans for bringing disease to North America. He also makes excuses for all the things Japan did during the war - "they were just following orders." Lousy book - sorry I ever bought it, someone need some fire starter paper?
