Can I join the Marines if...?

I have done about 6 months with the Canadian Army Reserve, and am moving to the
US
within a year... Is it possible to join if I have prior service in the Canadian Forces?
P.S.
I was born in
Bulgaria
and am a Citizen of both Nations at the moment. And how long do you have to live in the
US
to join.
