    Halloween

Brian's favorite holiday is Halloween, this will be our first apart.  I want to do something for his package, but I don't know what.  He is a practical guy and I am afraid he will think anything I do is "gay".

So, I was thinking to send a smaller size pumpkin and a carving kit.  We always carve pumpkins.  But, will he get teased for that and will a pumpkin even ship well?

I will send some candy and I found this motion activated zombie thing.  I have no idea what to do!

This is us at Halloween 2  years ago!

I have no clue if a pumpkin would ship well or not, but another optioin would be the carvable artificial pumpkins at craft stores (I've seen them at AC Moore and Michaels)...they looks real, they just won't decay  :)

I wish I could do that, but I think he wouldn't like it.

    Re: Halloween

If Halloween is his favorite holiday and one of the things you used to do together is carve pumpkins, don't you think it would bring good memories back to him with a craft pumpkin to carve? The Grit's Moms and Dads send a Halloween box out and we include candy, games and decorations. This helps our boys and girls feel closer to home. I suggest you carve a pumpkin, send him a picture and send him his craft pumpkin, his carving tools and a camera and have him carve it for you. I have found that in the years we have sent boxes that they bring a feeling of home to our children.
