    Question about finding someone

    I have a friend who just left for MCRD. I know his graduation date and which company he's in but in order to send any mail, I need the platoon number. Does anyone know where I might be able to find this?? I know there was a website a while back...

     

    Wait...are recruits in MOL???

     If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it, thanks

    I'm pretty sure the platoon number would have to come from the recruit himself.  I think his mom found out in the note they send...(I think I actually may have recieved a letter from him with the platoon number before she got his note).  Sorry I couldn't be of more help....it's been a while.

    When my son went, I received a letter with all that on it. It came with in the first week that he was on PI. That was last year, and his SDI had a web site that he also had on the letter. He would keep us up dated with pictures and we could ask questions. It was really nice.
