for my husbands first daddys day I put something in the paper from Kinleigh to Daddy and I sent him the paper. I also put a picture of her in a frame that said something about fathers day. Another good idea that I am going to do this year is put the kids picture on a tshirt and send it to him. He told me it was dorky but now that he is so homesick I know he will wear it to bed. I am thinking of having something like, sweet dreams daddy we love you, put on it. Basically once he is home it will be a keepsake. Hope these gave you some good ideas.
