    Does anyone know where I can get some relatively cheap (I know they have them for $6 a pair on base, but I'm moving away from base really soon)  good boot socks outside of a Marine base??

    For the hotter weather, my hubbie actually preferred the lighter tan colored "Dr Scholls" foot fixer socks.  I bought them at Wal-Mart.  The heavier socks made his feet sweat too much in the Iraqi summer heat.  You can also order them online from Wal-mart.
