    enlisting question?

I am from Florida, i still technically live there, but i am living in North Carolina temporarily because my husband is stationed here...So, with me enlisting in NC that will be my home of record, right??The bad thing about that is NC takes out state taxes and FL doesnt...Is there anyway possible that i could have my home of record as FL??Or would I have to go back to FL and talk to a recruiter there (which i dont plan on doing)??

    Re: enlisting question?

Your present address will be NC, your home of record does not have to be the same, it can be the one in Florida.  All of the enlistment forms have a space for both entries.
