If you are unfamiliar with the rain forest, you may be tempted to compare it to forests you have seen. But really there is no comparison at all. Here thousands of species of plants and animals live and breed for generations without ever touching the ground. They grow so close together and their tops are so dense that sunlight seldom reaches the jungle floor. This canopy can be up to 100 feet thick. While you might expect to find monkeys living in the canopy, you may not expect to find mice, frogs, and even earthworms there as well. Here most of these creatures are born, they live and die without ever touching the ground. The rain forest canopy is truly a second environment for life high above the surface of the earth! He can create living things to carry on successful lives in any environment. He can create varied communities that interact and depend upon each other within each unique environment. His creation is truly a wonder!
