Tommy,I never had the honor and privelege of knowing you,but thanks to the love shown for you by people who did know you,I have come to know you also. And for that I am grateful to those who will always remember you. Your not forgotten Brother Marine, and as long as there are people who love you,as long as there are brother Marines who knew you,as long as there is a United States Marine Corps, you will never be forgotten. Til it's my turn to relieve you on duty at the Gates of Heaven,God bless. Semper Fidelis, Chris

    quote:
"If tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see, if the sun should rise to find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things, we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, - as much as I love you, and each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too. But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand, And said my place was ready, in heaven far above, and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye, for all my life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for, theres so much I left yet to do, it seemed almost impossible, that I would be leaving you. I thought of all the yesterdays, - the good ones and the bad; I thought of all that we had shared, and all the fun we'd had. If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while, I'd say good-bye and hug and kiss you and maybe even see your smile. But then I fully realized, that this could never be, for emptiness, regrets, and memories, would now take the place of me. And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow, I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow. But when I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home, when God looked down and smiled at me, from His great golden throne, He said, "This is eternity, and all that I promised you Today your life on earth is past, but here life starts anew. " I promise no tomorrow, - but today will always last, and since each day is the same, there's no longing for the past. You have been so faithful, so loving, so trusting and so true, - even though there were times you did some things, you knew you shouldn't do. But you have been forgiven, and now at last you're free. So won't you come and take my hand, and share my life with me?" So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'll be right there, in your heart "

"We were young and Marines called to dedicate our lives in the name of God and country. A band of brothers waiting on our chance to add one more page unto the victory dance. Here am I." (just a little paraphrasing) Know we are thinking about you and thanking you every day of our lives.

Tommy man, we'll have a beer soon! I wish we met, but we'll have our day. I'll need wings, my knees are a wreck dude. Someone in Heaven donated a piece of gear for me last week, buy that Angel a beer for me (more to follow upon arrival). You already know these things though. Get a tee time and a cooler of beer; I'll bet the golf courses with my wings will be fun. Look out for the 'Rich - poop'!

Hey Tommy, Thought of you today and smiled. We are getting ready to head for Powell and I was flooded by memories of you and your ornory side. All those lizards with dragon heads and the havoc you and Justin caused the girls. This will be our first trip back without you. I will be thinking of you often. Rest easy dear friend. All my love

    Dearest Tommy,

It's been 4 years. Not one day goes by that we all don't think of you.

You are our hero and always will be.

We will see you again one day and get one of those great big hugs and enjoy that big grin of yours once again.

We are not the same without you but we know that you have left this earth a better place because we did have you for such a short period of time. How many folks can truly say they made such a big difference? We know you are watching over us all like a warm security blanket. We feel you each and every day of our lives. We feel you in the gentle breeze that blows over us.. We feel you in the warmth of a ray of sunshine that begins to thaw the snow in early spring. We feel you in the beautiful golden show of the Aspens in the fall. We feel you in the quiet stillness as it snows in the winter. We feel you when we see our amazing flag unfurling in the wind. We feel you in everything we see and do.

    We miss you so much.

Rest easy dear friend and guard heaven well.

With all our love and respect.
