RE: Chain of Command & Duty Expert List

Most people join the marines because they either have no where else to go or need the money. Well I joined because I WANT to be a marine. I had it all before this and am willing to give it ALL up to be a marine. Not many have had to do what I have to join. Did you? And I know im barking up the wrong tree but I feel u have judged me entirely wrong and boy if it doesnt get me deep down fired up. Im willing to do anything to prove you wrong.

Yeti, I have been a Sgt. for almost a month now. Don't you think that it's about time to change my rank on here? Big Smile And you can also add to my list of jobs, Duty NCO, Babysitter, CLS, should I keep adding to my list???

William, thank you for pointing out to the uneducated the meaning of RADAR. Now, let me point out the reality. We worked hard and we played harder. Radar means you get a good education, you are responsible for Air Cover in a given segment of the world, you have Grunts watching your back, and you have the time of your life! Nothing compares to swingin' with the Wing! (Especially if I was your NCO!!!)Dancing

If you f'd up, it was your ass, but if you did your job, you were guaranteed to have a great time!

Yeti-if you need another body to help with Admin-the 015* area, I am willing to have my name put on your list. Paul

I go back to the time when we used typrwriters and I was the first on PI to get an IBM word processor (1982). It helped that I worked in the computer center (ASCII). If I can help, I will. Paul

The hubby can now help if you are wounded and transitioning out of the Marine Corps. He can also help with retention packages should you want to stay in too.

Other than that he was a grunt until he was wounded.

One of our wannabees grew up to be a refer tech.  But we never see him here anymore.  That's what happens, though, you give them the best months of your life and what happens?  They never even tell you Happy Mother's Day.
