    Freezing Cookies

I'm sending cookies to my love that is deployed, but I'm worried about them not being tasty by the time they get there. So, I put them in Gladware containers and put them in the freezer. I tested a batch and the tasted good.....but has anyone ever done this or have any tips on sending baked goods. I know it's possible to send baked goodies....But this is my first deployment his fourth and i want to send him some tasty treats.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

After reading a lot of the posts on here I wanted to tell you all that I love seeing awesome supportive spouse and loved ones! There's nothing worse then a Marine that doesn't have a good support system at home. I want to adpot them all! So, keep up the good work!

    Re: Freezing Cookies

Hey! My boyfriend is obsessed with brownies and has been begging me to find a way to send him some so i went to walmart and they have these ziplock gallon bags. I think the brand is Reynolds but anyways they have this little machine that you can buy seperately that sucks all the air out of the bags. It really works because it takes like a week for packages to get there and Tyler said they were still really fresh. I hope this helps!!
