Well we leave for Japan tomorrow morning and that is going to be cool. Bad news is today I got a compression fracture in my L-1 Vertebre and am in really bad pain. I can barely get up or down and I cant manuver myself to get away from it.

Okay news is I can still fly becuase I will be doped up pretty heavily. However I am not able to sit or stand for prolong periods of time so basically I am going to be in A LOT of pain for the next 24 hours of flying if I dont get to lay down. We are going to try and upgrade to business class so I can lay down. They say the worst things will happen at the worst time, well it proved to be true.

If you guys could send good happy thoughts for us :)

OMG Leah...many, many happy thoughts for you for safe and comfortable travels. I don't know if you will get this in time or not but PLEASE let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do for you before you arrive.

Oh my Gosh Leah!!!!!!!!  I suffer from back pain occassionally and I KNOW how painful that can be.  Many many prayers for you girl!  Make sure you are snacking if you need to take pain meds, because they tend to make you nauseaus (sp?) and the last thing you need on top of back pain is to be puking (or getting air sick)  .  Good Luck!! 

Thank you ladies SO MUCH!! and Michelle I am still looking forward to that morning coffee...lol I am still in heaps of pain and am waiting till breakfast is done so I can take my pain meds. Not sure when we will get internet could be soon, could be a couple of days, but I will keep you posted.

holy *** that sucks! I will be thinking of you! and for the internet, i am pretty sure MCCS has free wireless internet in most public areas (at least here they do) even in the hotel we had wireless in the lobby (sometiems i could get it in the room)

Aww Leah - I hope you're able to get business class and lie down. That kind of pain sounds horrible, especially on such a long flight. Hope the drugs work as well as they should, and try to keep comfortable! Good wishes for a quick and painless flight.

Oh goodness, Leah!  I'll be sending prayers your way in hopes that the flight isn't too unbearable.  I didn't realize you were leaving so soon.  Update us when you can!

Ohh Leah I am SO sorry this happened to you and the timing is just awful!!! I hope yall can upgrade so you will have a more pain free flight!!! Keep in touch when you can, Ill be thinking about you!!!!

Well we made it! and DID get upgraded to business class!!! It was so nice. The service and seats were very comfortable and I was able to sleep!!! YAY! We have done just a little walking around and are going to be doing a bit of shopping here soon. I am still in lots of pain, but it is kind of manageable with the meds. I feel pretty loopy though, but its better than my back hurting. I will be getting in to see a doctor this week to see where we need to go from here. Thank you ladies for all the good thoughts!! 

im a little too late on this post, but im so glad that you two were able to get seat upgrades and that the flight to japan was okay! i cant wait to see some pictures of japan and your place once you get all settled in. and i hope the pain goes away and that you heal completely asap!
