    Newest "Future Marine"

    Ladies and Gentlement:

    After 34 hours of labor, my wife gave birth to our first child--a healthy baby boy--early yesterday morning. So, without further adieu, here is William Charles:

    William Charles

    William was 20 inches and 7lbs, 14oz at birth. Though it took more than a day to deliver him, he did arrive two days ahead of schedule. He must get that from me, because his mother is always late.

    I can't promise he'll be a Marine, but he'll be a good man if there's anything I can do about it. I've already started talking to him about our family values (Honor, Courage, Commitment, Strength, Wisdom, and Respect; and service to God, family and country). You might recognize some of our family values ... If you don't, then drop and give me 20! DI

    Anyway, I am a very proud papa, so I thought I'd share. (New dad's are entitled to waste everyone elses' time with this stuf, aren't they?)

    William Charles is a fine name too!

    In Japanese, ya know Bill is Biru (Beer)  In my case Bill Miller translates into Biru Mira (Beer for everyone!)
