I was on CNN.com reading about that horrible earthquake in China when another story caught my eye about a skimpy prom dress.  I cannot believe (a) any high school kid would think this was even close to appropriate (b) what parent in their right mind would ever let their high school student walk out of the house like that prom or elsewhere

Holy mackrel!  First of all - that dress is uglier than sin!  I'm 32 years old and my Mother would still not let me leave the house like that!  LOL!  Yuck!  No wonder she was escorted out!  It's high school for the love of Pete!  What is wrong with people nowadays?!

Yikes.  How does one look in the mirror and think "wow I look good?"  and not "wow, I look like a cheap hooker." 

I can't believe she (or her parents!) thought she could wear that to prom. It looks like a bathing suit.

Holy Mother!!!!! I have seen some pretty horriffic prom dresses in my day, but that one BY FAR takes the cake. She SHOULD have been arrested, and that dress should be burned. I have bathing suits that cover more.

Ok I saw some hoochy stuff at my prom, for gods sake mine was held in Santa Monica, but NOTHING like that!!!!!! Whoa Baby.  Where is the kids family and how the heck was she raised to think that is ok?

That's ridculous! It's funny because she probably paid a buttload of money and it isn't even that much fabric!! It's her own fault that she ruined her prom because my guess is the students were aware of restrictions on the dress code.

And I love how she said something like: --they didn't give me options...it was EITHER go to jail OR go home.--  Um hello? Atleast she got to pick between that, ya know?!? Sheesh.

Oh mylanta! My mother would have never left me out of the house dressed like that...i don't think i'd even let myself out of the house like that. Seriously, this is HIGH SCHOOL prom.

She is the one on the left.  The picture doesn't really do the dress justice - it criss-crosses over her boobs.  I just hope that she had invested in some double-sided tape...

We had strict prom dress codes at my high-school. No one wears a dress that you couldnt wear a normal bra with. Period.

 

Her horrid speaking skills dont help either. She just looks ignorantly stupid and slutty.

Speaking as a mom who just went through prom (again for the 5th time).  "Big daddy" (that's what the girls call Rick) always got Final Approval on all dresses (and bathing suits by the way)we usually take a camera phone or dresses have been put on hold if he wasn't with until he saw them ON THEIR BODIES.  But never was a dress purchased without final approval.  With that said, of course there is not way that dress would have made it into our possession let alone on their bodies and them out of the house.  

Who let's their daughter represent themself like that?  Disgusting! 

 That is SOOOOO crazy!!  I can't even imagine seeing someone wear that.  YUCK!  I"m glad they didn't let her in the prom......that's all I can say!

LOL Sara you crack me up! And I agree....she looked rather ignorant and she would have to be to think she had  a right to wear something that nasty to prom. Not only was it ugly, it covered less than my bathing suits! Have some class girls.  

I know everybody wants to rip on this girl.. and I agree that the dress is inappropriate and not very attractive, but you gotta consider that this screams "I have no self esteem!" She probably wasn't wearing it for any other reason than she wanted attention (most likely MALE attention) and maybe she figures thats the only way to get it. I think it's sad more than anything.

I heard about the story on the radio this morning but HOLY COW!  GAG!  That dress is SO UGLY!  It looks like she took a perfectly good ugly dress and ripped it to shreds!  My mom wouldn't let me out of the house in something like that then or now and i'm 23 years old!  I'm glad they didn't let her in and she shouldn't get her money back, she knew the rules i'm sure!  GAG!

She needed to be spanked more as a child , her parents are for letting thier daughter make that dress.

Wow. I really hope she superglued that to her boobs, because I could see that 2 inch piece of fabric moving very easily!! That is so crazy...I couldn't even imagine wearing something like that anytime, nevermind to senior prom!! That definitely takes the cake for most revealing prom dress I've ever seen.

Yea.  She looks like a street walker.  Some women (and I use the term loosely) have absolutely no respect for themselves.  They wear the trashiest clothing and then piss and moan when someone notices.  I mean really.  What the devil did she expect?
