    Crazy night!!!

Well tonight was a little nutty and scary. First the girls and TJ and I were all sitting in the house this afternoon when I saw a MP looking into our backyard. So I went out and asked what was going on. He told me to keep my eyes open because a 4 year old little boy that lives a couple houses down has been missing for a little while. So I wake TJ up and we go outside to look for him. Everyone on our 3 streets were out searching for this little boy for about 2 hours. Well I was about 3 blocks from home and it starts pouring. Poor Braelyn and I are trying to get home because there was a tornado watch out. Well we get home and I couldn't just sit there with a little boy out in this weather so TJ stayed home and I went out driving around.  Well After about an hour I get home and the neighbor tells me that they had just found him that the neighbor had closed the garage door not realizing the little boy was in there. OMG! I can't imagine how his parents were feeling. He wasn't my kid and I was scared to death.

Then I hear on the news that a tornado had touched down on the road that TJ's friend lives on. So TJ called him and he said that the store at the end of the road was gone and his neighbors trailers are flipped over. ughh! So yeah it was a CRAZY night.

    Re: Crazy night!!!

Oh wow!!  That poor little boy and his family.  At least he wasn't out roaming around though.  But I still can't even imagine how his parents were feeling.  I would've been losing my mind had it been one of my kids.

And as for the storms...UGH.  Three different tornado warnings in two hours wasn't really fabulous.  I come from a town where a tornado warning is a MAJOR joke and there's nothing to worry about.  So needless to say, I seriously wanted to crap my pants when there were those warnings and stuff.  Of course, Mark just HAS to be gone when it gets like that around here.  Ugh.  I was so ready for the storms and tornado warnings to be over within half a second of it all starting.  I'd much rather take Ohio's snow than NC's storms, that's for sure.  These storms down here pretty much suck and I don't like 'em.

Uh yeah, last night was a bit much. There was red blob after red blob on the radar. I must say I was very scared. I'm from IL which always has tornado's but we have tornado sirens there and plus, it was just me and Kaylee. Everytime I checked back in with the news it was "There is rotation over Havelock...tornado headed towards Cherry Point". I had our little tornado safety area all ready and then the cat peed on the pillows and blankets. Yesterday sucked. Thank God nothing too serious happened.  And just think, hurricane season starts June 1st. UGG.

Oh my gosh, what a crazy mothers day! I'm glad they found that little boy. Tornados scare the crap out of me. I had a dream one time that there was a tornado here in PA (that never even happens, lol) and I was hiding in the basement but my brother and Chris decided to be heroes and go up and save my dog and I saw them like, fly by a window. Oh my gosh it was such a scary dream, I can't imagine if I had to deal with one in real life!!
