    Any ideas for purchases prior to deployment? Ouyr Marine keeps saying he will be issued everything he needs, but I have heard from several sources there are items we could provide that would make things a little easier/better for him. Any ideas appreciated!

    We had to send our son long johns. The hard part is that they have so little room in their bags! Chap stick is good. There is a link on the wives and girlfriends board. Try there for some ideas. and by the way... WELCOME!!!!
