    Sgt. John Walsh Sr.

A friend of mine, passed away at home yesterday A Sergeant in the Corps during WW2. He was a Marine paratrooper.  He ended up serving in the 5th Division. He fought in Leyte and was in the 5th wave to land on Okinawa.

He got out of the Corps and enlisted in the Navy during Korea. He served in a gun crew, (I can't remember if he said a 2" or a 5" gun), on a destroyer operating off of Korea.

He got out of the Navy and became a Boston firefighter which he retired from.

He was a "rough" sort of man but a good man and a good person.

    He will be missed.

If guns are outlawed, how can we shoot the liberals?

Sorry to hear about your friend, Jay. Talk about being a first responder, he certainly fit the bill.

God Has Him In The Palm Of His Hand.

    Rest in Peace Mr. Walsh.
