Powerful video there Jim. Thanks for posting. Glad to know I can help just by watching it.

      Semper Fidelis,

         Chris

PS be sure and watch the commercial after the video. It is about Operation Homefront.

Later that night, while I was thinking about the day's somber events, Cpl. Richard A. Mason, an infantryman with Headquarters Platoon, who, in the short time I was with the company became a good friend, told me, "You're still here, don't forget that. Tell your kids, your grandkids, what Sgt. Peralta did for you and the other Marines today."

Jim, is the pawn shop owner the young MOH recipient in the picture or is that his son?

He looks like he's the age of most Vietnam vets today and there seems to be a resemblance between him and the young soldier in the picture, but I couldn't tell if it was him.

After reading the above comments, I was prepared, so I thought, to watch the video.  Then the little boy kissed his Daddy.

    Thanks, Bro.

Yep.  The pawn shop man is the MOH recipient in the pic.
