    Any of you Marines, have or remember any Marine Corps Trivia Question from Promotion Boards?  Anything at all?

    If you are marching a group of Marines and if they take one more step foward, they would step on a mine what is the one command you could call that would stop them before taking one step onto the mine?

     Gas? explain. in my head im thinking: well he yelled gas i better get my damn mask on or im screwed. im having trouble getting it

    oh and one more question. everytime i hear about promotion boards i always hear all the higher ups saying they'll be asking questions from refference manual papa sumthing or other. i wish i paid a little more attention the the sumthing or other becuase im wondering what the hell manual is that so i can study it. if anyone knows i'd appriciate the info.

    When the command 'gas' is heard, you immediately halt and don your gas mask.  It's the only command that can be given while marching which does not require a preparatory command.
