In 2001/2002 there were only 13 Women MGySgts in the Marine Corps. Name one of them.

Weren't you one of the thirteen? The only name I could come up with from that time period was MGySgt Sturms.

OK, I'm confused. Perhaps Top can enlighten me. (I never claimed to be the smartest person here).
To Top...
When I was in "Top" was slang for a Master Sergeant. Why would you have a screen name for a rank lower than you were? Just curious.
Thirsty....
(I hate it when I get serious).

When I joined the bb I was a MSgt, I was promoted to MGySgt a year later. "Top" is a term of affection (not that kind), but some anal MSgts and MGySgts have a cow and will let you know under uncertain terms that you may NOT call them Top. I, on the other hand, didnt need to be like that. There were a few idiots that I had call me by my rank, but only because they did or said stupid sh*t. Kinda like calling some Captains 'Skipper' or WO 'Mr.' Its acceptable, but only to those who allow it.

From one top to another, hang in there . I'm proud of you!

I always thought that only a 1st Sgt was a "Top." In my brief Marine career, I do not recall ever comming across a Master Sgt or MGySgt. The few Sgts Major I was exposed to demanded to be addressed as Sgt Major (period).
If I am not mistaken, Phil Silvers, who had a prime time television show (in black & white) back in the 50's about an army "Top Kick Banana" Sgt.

I guess that makes this the sergeant major, and this the MGySgt. Heh!
