    Vowel Renewal Plans

Jeremy and I are renewing our vows on our 5th anniversary on June 21st. We really feel that we need it because we almost got divorce in 06 but we are going strong. weve been through so much stuff together. Anyways...the plans are falling into place! The only thing im stressed about it that I dont feel like im working fast enough. We are having it in our back yard, ive bought my dress, kadys dress, and Jeremy is wearing his blues. Ive picked out my invites not I just have to buy them. I got lucky...im trying to incorporate a few things from our original ceremony...im wearing the shoes I wore then, and I happenend to find some invites that have the same precious moments bride and groom as the original invites (except these are much nicer) we are planning to "honeymoon" in San Antonio.  So really all I need to do is reserve the tables and chair, get and send out invites, buy favors, get a cake, pick out decorations, and decide what we want to serve. I guess that does sound like a lot but I feel like ive done most of the harder stuff. Im just getting more excited as the days go by.

That's great that you are renewing your vowels.  My parents did it I think back in 2000 but it was great and knowing the feeling that you have been with your love for a long time and knowing that life as changed and you feel that you owe it to you and your husband to stand in front of everyone and againg tell each other how much you love one other is great.  I'm really happy for you hun.  Congrads.

aww I think it's nice to renew vows!!! I'm sure everything will fall into place and be perfect! Congrats to toughing it out through the hard times and making it work! I'm sure the next 5 years will be just as strong (and many more after that!)

That's so cool.....  DH and I talk about doing a vowel renewal as well, but we don't know when -- maybe 25 years?
