so.. you need quotes about wives? or quotes about the Marine Corps? or quotes about marrying a Marine? haha I could probably help ya out, cuz i'm a quote whore haha!!!
if it's for your deployment girls.. there's a quote like "military wives start out as friends at the beginning of a deployment and turn into sisters by the end"
if it's about marrying a Marine.. you could use the "God made some of the strongest women, and made their match with a Marine!"
Ok.. seriously. i could probably help ya out, so just tell me exactly what you need and I'll see what I can do! It's early in the morning and I read your post, but I wasnt exactly sure what you wanted, so I apologize if I seem like a complete dummy right now! haha!! I'm so excited for you! isnt planning a wedding fun?!

"you were given this life, because you were strong enough to live it"
Military Wife's Prayer
"Dear Lord, Give me the greatness of heart to see the difference between duty and his love for me. Give me understanding that I may know, when duty calls him he must go. Give me a task to do each day, to fill the time when he's away. And Lord, when he's in a foreign land, keep him safe in your loving hand. And Lord, when duty is in the field, please protect him and be his shield. And Lord, when deployment is so long, please stay with me and keep me strong. Amen."

Courtney, this isn't specificaly military- but it's something I have lived my life by since I started dating my Marine because it has seemed so applicable. Serenity Prayer: "God, grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. "
Good luck with everything.

OK, this is what I have so far! I read it to the girls and they were like, "Courtney. We're supposed to make it through this without crying?!" Haha :P
Dear Lord,
Give me the greatness of heart to see; the difference between duty and his love for me. Give me understanding that I may know; when duty calls him he must go. Give me a task to do each day, to fill the time when he's away. And Lord, when he's in a foreign land, keep him safe in your loving hands. And Lord, when duty is in the field, please protect him and be his shield. And Lord, when deployment is so long, please stay with me and keep me strong. Amen.
This is the prayer of the Marine Corps wife. God made some of the strongest women and made their matches with Marines. The wives of Marines are strong and patient. They are professional prayers and worriers. Their best friend is the mail man; their confidant is the pillow they lay their heads down at night; their sisters are other Marine Corps wives. If you ever come across the wife of a Marine, you may notice her poise and her calm demeanor. But when you look inside her and unravel the layers, you will start to see the anxiety of deployments, the tears of loneliness, the very essence of bravery. Some wives are young; some are old. Some raise children alone; some do not. They have different ways of life and different ways of dealing, but in the end, they all share one thing: they married Marines. They will wait for him and they will love him unconditionally, wherever the Corps may lead him, because it takes more than a man to wear a uniform and more than a woman to love him.
I cast my lot with a Marine, and where he was, was home to me.
I might take the last line and put it at the end of the programs but I'm not sure. So many possibilities! Haha :P
