marissa6387:No one from this complex will return my call, so now I am out my car, and about $400. If I don't get my car back tonight and this money back on Monday, there is going to be hell to pay. Thanks for the rant.
WOW!!!!!!!!! I don't blame ya girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As soon as someone gets into that leasing office I'd be pounding on the door! That is outrageous!!!!!

Oh my gosh, Marissa! That is SO terrible! I can't believe that they did that to you. I'm so sorry. I really hope that the issue gets resolved without you wasting money. I'm so sorry that you didn't get to see Jordan, too.
Erm.. Maybe you avoided a car accident or something by all this mess? I hope that you stay as positive as possible. And thanks again for helping me out so much and hanging out on Friday!

marissa6387:So one of Jordan's friends took me to get my vehicle out of the impound lot, and I had to pay the full amount. I was pissed, but it wasn't their fault. So this morning, I went to the leasing office, and she told me that one of the new managers had assigned my spot to a new tennant, and they didn't contact me because there was a mix up and they didn't know it was my car...whatever.
I asked them if I was going to get reimbursed for the full amount, and she said that she was going to "try" to get me the full amount back tomorrow once she talks to her manager. I have a feeling that they will just go ahead and write me a check, and say sorry for the mix up, but if they don't we're gonna have serious problems. Ugh...totally ruined my weekend.
Marissa, they really do need to compensate you for the trouble THEY caused. don't stop at the managers level. Find out who owns them and go to them. Tell what an absolute inconveinence this was. 1/2 off rent is not too much to ask. I am so sick of companies screwing up and all they can say is sorry, thats a load of

Something like this happened to Cliff and I when we lived in an apartment.
It was a bad snow season and it wasnt an assigned parking type deal but a first come first park. So, the complex did a HORRIBLE job plowing the spots and deicing the roads, Cliff had come home late only to find no parking spots available near our complex so he parked on a mound of snow in a handy cap spot(this spot was inaccessable to anyone that didnt have 4WD). The next morning, our car is gone. I was 8 months pregnant at the time and had almost fell when I slipped getting out of the car a few nights prior coming home from work(i got home around 1am every night) so i was already b!tching about the horrible job they were doing.
Cliff was p!ssed beyond belief. He stormed down tot he office and raised hell. We not only got the FULL tow refund, but also a refund for the rental car we needed to get to the tow place to get his car back, AND half months rent off for the next month. Along with that, that very next day they had maintance out and a new private company come in and clean every walk way, and salt the roads like there was no tomorrow.
We dont mess around when it comes to apartment living. If something is wrong we are heard and when we arent heard we yell so that they can hear us.
