Whoops- I accidentally deleted my original post... however- I talked to the housing office, and they said that if we will accept off base base housing... then we will be #4-5 on the list... so it looks like that's what we'll do. We need a house pronto. On base housing is totally worth the wait... but we just don't have that option. I have got to get out of my parents' house. We're all going crazy, and Kyle wants me to be there when he gets home... so that's what we're going to do. What a pain, though! This means an extra 30 minutes added onto his commute each way everyday. Ug. I hope it turns out ok. Thanks for the encouragement, Ladies!

That would be short....I hate to tell you but we were number 16 when we got here and that was dated in Oct so we have been waiting for housing for 4 mths and still NO offer.  Housing here is not fun in my opinion!  We have been living in the TLF forever!

 I'm sorry Amy and Lydia!!  I wish I could just move you guys into my house!! LOL  It does have four bedrooms but you'd have to shack up with one of my kids!! I hate the girls in housing here.  They are mean and have no feelings or hearts what-so-ever.  Lydia I hope you get a house soon b/c I"m sure living in the hotel is no fun and Amy I hope they get a house for you before Kyle gets home.  UGH.  

I'm sorry to hear that you're so far down on the waiting list :( But on the positive side, at least you'll have your husband back!! That's awesome that it's so soon. I hope they hurry up and find housing for you though - good luck!

Just keep repeating that when all this housing stuff gets you down! I'm sorry its not working out right, but YAAAAAAAAAAAY! He's almost home!!!

aw, im sorry to hear that. it sucks that your on the wait list and that getting a house off base will add a 30min commute. i hope everything ends up working out! keep us updated! good luck!

Yeah, boo for the extra hour of driving everyday... but yay for the bigger kitchen and new friends.hehe. We'll be ok. Now I'm just praying that they will have a house ready for us by the first. I really want to have everything ready by the time Kyle gets home. EEEK! I'm so excited about having my own house again!
