Remember me - (now with Pictures) - thanks Chris
Hi everyone - sorry I have been UA lately, I havent been home but for 2 days the last 2 weeks. I spent the first week in Colorado at a conference, which ended very nicely.... This past week I spent with my daughter (my expecting daughter!) and granddaughters in California. It was 112 degrees at Ft Irwin (yuk). We spent part of the week in S.Cal and visited MCRD, then spent Thursday night on Camp Pendleton.
Wednesday morning I got good news/bad news from Shawn. The bad news is he is not going to be stationed in DC as previously expected. The good news is he is going to be on Security Forces Duty near Seattle - 3 hours away!! yeah!

Lol Nancy! I certanly CANNOT share details here !!!! Lets just say I am still smiling. We didnt have a Colorado GriTogether. I wasnt even sure I was going to the conference until about 9 days before the conference began. I did get to talk to Tedd, our paths just couldnt seem to cross on this trip. He and I seemed to be in California/Colorado on opposite weeks.

Thanks Bill - I will have someone post a couple of pictures once I find the cord. My babies are getting so big, and I do have a scary one of me on the beach at San Onofre.

Top, I posted the pics like I always have, but all I see are little red x'es and I have no idea why. Maybe Grit's forum gurus know what's wrong. Semper Fidelis, Chris
Later that night, while I was thinking about the day's somber events, Cpl. Richard A. Mason, an infantryman with Headquarters Platoon, who, in the short time I was with the company became a good friend, told me, "You're still here, don't forget that. Tell your kids, your grandkids, what Sgt. Peralta did for you and the other Marines today." Quote from a story written by combat correspondent LCpl Travis J. Kaemmerer who, unfortunately, died in a car crash in Virginia after returning from Iraq.

Since the pics wouldn't post, here is the link to them. The first one is the last one on this page and the other three are on the next page. Semper Fidelis, Chris http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v181/Bamaman71354/Tracy%20Bells%20Pics/?start=40

I think I see what happened. It was photobucket that changed. They used to have just three links to the pics and now they list four.
