I make it home made, but usually only for occasions or when I'm feeding a bunch of people. It's super easy and SUPER yummy! :) Also, you could cut the ingredients to make less.
1 lb large elbow macaroni boiled and drained
2/3 lb. of sharp cheddar shredded
2/3 lb. of monterey jack shredded
mix cheese together
I buy the block cheese and shred it myself, because to me it seems to melt better, but that may be all in my head. And I like it really cheesy, but less can be used and still be good.
Mix about 1/2 of the cheese in the warm macaroni noodles and put in a 9x12 baking dish (or anyother that it will fit in)
Top with the rest of the cheese and put in the oven for about 10 minutes (just until the cheese is fully melted)
That's it! I haven't made it in a while, but thinking about it is making me want some :):)
