As I've said on several forums.  the PGR was at a Funeral For a young Marine while this was going on.  We did not here anything till the next day.

This is the sort of thing that actually makes me very sad more than any other emotion... Look what our nation is coming to?  When someone says "Is there any good left in the world these days?", it becomes a serious question.  America is the last bastion of what is right, and what needs to be done against an overwhelming tide of appeasers, socialists, and cowards masquerading as pacifists.  And half our population, and growing, is joining the herd.  The media is overwhelming.  I have no idea what to do.  Especially since I live in an ultra-liberal community.  These sorts of things nearly drive me to tears.

Ft. Lewis Washington is the nearest large military base and I wished they had sent down a few bus loads of Army Rangers to "observe" this event.

Just like the Vietnam "peace" protestors, I noticed a large number of military aged males doing the protesting. Wonder if they are afraid of a military draft and their "pacifism" is really related to cowardice.

I was talking with a coworker tonight who is retired Navy, and he had heard nothing of the "peace protests" and the Anti-War and Anti-Soldier protests that have been taking place recently... I explained what had happened in Portland with the burning of a Soldier in Effigy, along side an American flag. And I thought he was going to flip on the spot... which is exactly the reaction that I had when I first watched the YouTube clip.

A few questions...where were the police?  Isn't that a young child over on the wall to the left?  Wouldn't this be lewed exsposure to a juvinile-child?  Or would this be s civics education demonstration?  It's events like this that God is watching over some of us.  Because if we had been there these folks would be in the hurt locker or dead and we'd be in jail.

If this turd-for-brains punk had attempted to do this in DC a few weeks ago, he'd have had his gonads cut off and shoved down his throat.

When my buddy saw an anti-war protester asswhipe walking around with an American flag around his neck like a scarf sometime before the start of the anti-war march in DC, it appeared if this punk was going to do "something inappropriate" with the flag.  My buddy (a Vietnam Marine grunt) walked up to the kid and got right in his face. He said, "Do you know how to properly fold that flag?"  I have to tell you that Bruce (my buddy) is six foot - fourteen inches and is about 280 pounds of muscle.  The kid took one look at Bruce and turned to ask his scragly friend to give him a hand in folding the flag.  And you know what?  The folded flag looked as good as anyone on a military burial detail could have done.
