Any of you Marines in the northwest who have a German car may want to check
us out. Adare Motorsports is based in Spokane, specializing in
high-performance driving. We mostly work with BMWs and Porsches, offering
all sorts of services. My father, Scott Adare, instructs high-performance
driving (aka racing) all around the west coast, from southern California to
northern Alberta. He is also the president of the BMWCCA's northwestern
chapter and has close ties to the Porsche Club of America.
Automotive Services: As I said, we specialize in German cars,
mostly BMW and Porsche. If you have an Audi, VW, BMW, Porsche, or any
other deutsches Auto, we can be of service. We offer hard-to-find
parts, high-performance upgrades, routine maintenance, and advice/appraisals.
We have many clients who come to us for service from far-away places like
Southern California and Edmonton, AB. Obviously, it makes no sense to
work with someone so far away for routine maintenance. But for advice,
hard to find parts, and racing parts, our clients prefer Adare Motorsports to
dealerships or local German shops because no one else can offer expertise like
my father.
Schools: Adare Motorsports puts on schools in Spokane throughout the
fair-weather months. At the school, you will be paired up with an
instructor and receive one-on-one on-track instruction. These schools are
not meant to teach you how to drive FAST; they are meant to teach you how to
drive WELL. The ability to go fast is just a secondary result of improved
driving skills. You learn fundamentals, then develop those skills to go
ever faster. Schools run Friday evening to Sunday.
FATT: Friday at the Track is an open lapping day. The track is hot
from 0800-dusk. If you have experience, you can go and just lap all day
to have fun/practice different skills. You if you are less experienced,
instruction is available.
If you're interested in any of these services, there is some info available on our
website, Adaremotorspots.com, but to be honest it is a horrible site.
There are dates posted, but other than that there's not much info. The best
way to get more information is to contact either myself
(jadare10@whitworth.edu) or my father, Scott (contact info available at
www.adaremotorsports.com).
