I am hiring in Dallas, Texas in Jan/Feb/Mar 2007

I will be interviewing electrical assembly workers for my Control Panel Shop beginning in January of 2007. This shop is air conditioned, quiet and a pleasant environment. I have had people work their way up into Engineering, Customer Service, Quality Control and After Market Parts Sales.

The following is a typical electrical control panel we build:

I will also be interviewing assembly workers for my Final Assembly Shop. This shop builds up piping systems, pneumatic valves, run conduit and run/terminate signal, control and power wiring. Needs good mechanical abilities. Read electrical schematics, able to handle power tools and work 10 hours per day for 6 days a week.

The following is a typical station we build:

I have two Marines working for me in FInal Assembly and one in the Panel Shop. Our parent corporation builds most of the night vision equipment we use in the US Military and a good deal of aviation electronics. My own products are packaged water pumping stations for turf irrigation - usually for Golf Courses. We also have a world-wide installation and maintenance network so there are opportunities for work in field locations, if you can stand being on golf courses for several days.

Contact me ASAP by the Grit Email sytstem.

    Billy,

That's a pretty damn nice panel Brother. What controls are you using up in that top left corner?

I'd honestly be right at home in a panel like that. I don't normally build them, I usually start them up and support them.

Just wanted to compliment you on some damn fine work.

Looks like there are some components in the control panel at the bottom of the box that haven't been installed / integrated. Wireway looks good, din rail placing good, service loop good! Nice clean layout..
Considering you need aviation folks as well (I have my A&P), where are you folks located around Dallas?
I will still be a Vikings fan though.

Yup! A&P Qualified, just too far to commute right now.  Both jobs look good - I like the A/C part, cause without it, nobody would wanna live in Texas!

Bill could use some OT, things are slow at work these days. Since I work 3 10 hour days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I have four days with nothing to do, less the weekly dates with my baby Marine in 29Palms. Like Gunny Miller the commute would be a b2tch....Good luck with the hiring.....

Looks like a great set up, and a great job to have.

I rooted for the Vikes in the mid to late 70's especially against Dallas!

    Bill

We have a really good friend retiring after 22 years in the MC in November. He is coming to Dallas and is new to the area. If you have anything at that time I will steer him your way. He is a good man and his family is awesome. We have known him for several years.

Thomas, sorry but I just noticed your questions...

Allen Bradley 503 PLC controls, but we are migrating right now to Wago modular I/O and adding internet access.

The VFDs are ABB. We use hundreds of their drives a month. Good quality, great service in the field.
