    Any other September 1 grads? My son is in Plt 1010. We got rooms booked on the base, can't beat the price!!! Haven't heard how he did in the rifle qualification, I know they don't graduate until they qualify! Anyone know if they let us know about something like that?

    You don't get much time to write during phase 2. He will let you know when he gets back to MCRD from Pendleton. The rooms on the base at MCRD are not that luxurious (definitely bring your own pillows!), but they are real close to everything. We stayed there on April when our sons graduated. You will enjoy it immensely.

    i stay in a suite when im there.the place is nice.i like the free washing and drying!be sure he shows you around the base and shop a little on thursday.(after his 4mile run)
