    Good job. Interestingly, the Civil War era Marines were not that interested in amphibious assaults. I went to the big re-enactment of the First Battle of Bull Run, held out at Middletown VA -- my son was taking part. It was really interesting. The group that played the Marines were from Fredericksburg, Tx. Nice group of guys. Their uniforms had the actual "Leathernecks". http://www.civilwarhome.com/marines.htm
