    Idea

I don't know if this is already in the Grit Store but here is a idea: There is a square pouch made out of digital cammie fabric small enough to fit in the chest or shoulder pockets of the digital cammie blouses,(the pouch open and closes by velcro). In it is a small ziploc bag full of rice. After purchase, the wife, girlfriend, or fiancee is to pour the rice into a bowl, spray the rice with the scent that most reminds their deployed Marines of her, once dried. The rice is then poured back into the zip loc bag and place in the pouch so that the scent won't die out in the mail. Then once the Marine recieves the pouch with the scented rice, there is small note attached saying open ziploc bag and pour rice directly into pouch, now you can take the digital cammie pouch everywhere you go and when you smell it think of your love one. I've gotten one of these locally at Lejeune and on the pouch they have one of the iron on Eagle, Globe, and Anchors in the center of it. They call this "A Sent of Home" -I sent my husband one of these and besides his wallet it was the only thing he had with him after his IED accident. He told me that after the accident when he was going in and out of it one of the guys took it our of his blouse pocket and laid it on his chest, he said he smelled it and thought of me which made me feel so special that he had it with him everywhere he went and that he had me to think of during all of the craziness and reminded him of what he had to live for.
